Nick's career was nurtured from early stages with his family trading company. He studied International Marketing and Engineering in Cambridge-UK.

His expertise encompasses business strategy, market analysis, customer needs and relationships, performance improvement and setting priorities. An assertive and adaptable person with significant strategic management experience; an integrative and visionary team leader who plays a leading role in driving change, able to identify opportunities in terms of volume and value and able to deal with situations head-on and can be relied upon to stand his ground where appropriate.

Seasoned his entrepreneurial skills with vast hands-on experience in export trading and market entry to USA and various GCC countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.

Anthony Hewlett

Anthony took an honours degree at Oxford and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG) in 1970. From 1972 he worked in substantial PLC's with extensive European interests and spent 10 years as Company Secretary managing the finance, accounting and administration of a group of international trading companies. He then held the position of head of finance and IT in two sizeable City legal partnerships also holding office as chairman of the Solicitors' Financial Management Group for a three year term. More recently he has acted as FD in the successful AIM flotation of Corac Group PLC in 2001.

Since 1992 he has practised as a part-time finance director, professional accountant, a hands-on interim manager and as a general adviser to companies raising funds. Clients have included two professional bodies, an electronics manufacturing group, a food hygiene auditing group and several VC funded businesses.

Anthony Hewlett speaks fluent French, some German and has a working knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
